Melli has also entered into the semi-final round of the ongoing Inter-Constituency Football Tournament 2019-20 at Jorethang ground in South Sikkim. In the third quarter-final match played today, Melli had edged past Lachen-Mangan 3-2 to secure its place in the semi-final round of the tournament.
The last quarter-final match of the tournament will be played between Soreng-Chakung and Upper Tadong on Sunday. Zoom-Salghari and Barfung are already in the semi-final round by winning their respective quarter-final matches of the tournament.
