Criticizing Govt, misleading people has become opposition’s full time Job in Sikkim.

Chief Minister Pawan Chamling stated that opposition parties in Sikkim never speaks positive but always busy in the negative criticism. He stressed that opposition parties does not have any programme but always busy in misguiding and mislead the people. He was speaking to the SDF party workers and supporters at his residence at Ghurpisey in Namchi, South Sikkim.
On the occasion, the CM mentioned that oppositions have never give the credit to the good and exemplary works of SDF government but always tries to mislead the people by saying good works of SDF government were given by the Centre. He stressed upon the need to lead the young generation of Sikkim on the right path. He added that vested interest opposition parties of Sikkim can deceive or mislead young generation of Sikkim during the election time. He asserted that there was the need to protect the young generation from such vested interest element and forces.
CM stated that the State governments in many States of India have still been failed to provide the basic minimum needs of the people. He added that there was no any talk for the development in the country at present but communal and religious issues have been raised to instigate the people and it was not the good sign for the country. He stated that there was no any discussion going on at present on why the poverty has not been eradicate from the country but there were only communal and religious issues.
On the same, the CM mentioned that SDF government has been successful to provide the basic minimum needs to the people of Sikkim. He added that all wards in the State have been connected with roads and power supply to every house in Sikkim. He stated that although Sikkim became the part of North East Council at the last but Sikkim was presently much ahead than other north-eastern States.
“The biggest development of the SDF party provided to the people of Sikkim is the peace and security in the State,” he said. He stressed upon the need to open cooperative society in different sectors at every GPU. He suggested the cooperative society in milk production, organic farming and other sectors to provide more benefits to the people. He stressed that the people in the grassroot level need to make aware on this issue.
CM mentioned that the creative change was the sustainable but ongoing slogans of the change in the State was of hatred, depression and terror and it would bring the destruction and was not in the interest of any individual. He stressed upon the need to raise the voice of protest against such change.
On anti-incumbency, he stated that there was no any anti-incumbency against the CM but if there was any anti-incumbency in the State then it was against the party workers, panchayats, MLAs, Ministers, bureaucrats and government officials.
