Gangtok, Sept 5
A coordination meeting to consider security and other matters along the Indo-Nepal Border of Deputy Inspectors General Level between Sashastra Seema Bal (India) and Armed Police Force (Nepal) will be held at Sector Hqrs SSB Gangtok on 06th September 2019.
The meeting between the senior police officers of India & Nepal will be held to strengthen the security system on the Indo-Nepal border, to prevent the illegal encroachments at “No-Man’s Land”, to maintain and repair the border pillars between the two countries, discussions on prevention of human and drug trafficking, and to strengthen the mutual cooperation, understanding between Officers & personnel at all level of SSB & APF .
Eight-member delegation from Nepal under the leadership of Shri Nagendra Bahadur Thapa, Deputy Inspector General, Susari Brigade, Armed Police Force Nepal, is coming to Gangtok on 06th September 2019 to attend the said meeting. The Indian team will lead by Shri Amit Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Sector HQ SSB Ranidanga ,Siliguri.
In this meeting Deputy Inspectors General and other Officers of Sector HQ SSB, Gangtok (Sikkim) and Sector HQ SSB, Purnea (Bihar) will also participate. (PIB)
