10 MLAs of Bharatiya Janata Party, Sikkim held a meeting with Governor Ganga Prasad today at his official residence, Raj Bhavan. The delegation led by MLA D.T. Lepcha was comprised of legislators Ugen T. Gyatso Bhutia, N.K. Subba, DR Thapa, K S Lepcha, K.B. Rai, Rajkumari Thapa, Farwanti Tamang, Pintso Namgyal Lepcha and T. T Bhutia. During the meeting with the Governor, the legislators discussed the various issues and informed the Governor about the political developments of the state.
During the meeting, a memorandum has been submitted to the Governor on behalf of the Legislature Party, discussing the notification issued by the Union Ministry of Home Affairs on 13 August, 2019, permitting the climbing of 137 new mountains including the Holy Mountain of Kanchenjunga.
