Two retired primary teachers, TR Nepal and MP Dahal from Tumin-Lingee constituency have joined the ruling Sikkim Democratic Front party. Likewise, a retired employee of Power and Energy Department, Avichandra Gautam has also joined the SDF party. They have joined the ruling SDF party in the presence of SDF President, the Chief Minister Pawan Chamling here at Mintokgang on Tuesday. Tumin-Lingee Area MLA and the Minister Ugen T Gyatso Bhutia was also present on the occasion.
Likewise, two supporters of SKM party from Kokaley, Homnath Neopaney and Bhim Neopaney have also joined the ruling SDF party at Mintokgang. On the occasion, the CM has also presented blankets to senior citizens of above 60 years from six constituencies of East Sikkim.
