Sikkim Democratic Front party has nominated two senior Ministers as the Ministerial In-charge of the party for two different constituencies of the State to take the election campaigning ahead in the area. In an office order, SDF Party President has nominated a senior Minister GM Gurung for Rangang-Yangang constituency in South Sikkim and another senior Minister DT Lepcha for Shyari constituency in East Sikkim as Ministerial In-charge of the party.
Speaking to media persons on the phone, Minister DT Lepcha expressed his happiness on getting the new responsibility from the party and mentioned that SDF would win the election from Shyari in 2019. He added that to make a suitable environment to ensure the win of SDF party from the constituency.
Likewise, the party has also appointed senior leaders of SDF in the post of vice-chairman/chairpersons of different constituencies.
