All Sikkim Adhoc & Temporary Employees Association [ASATEA] mentioned that Human Resource Development Department has included all demands of adhoc teachers in the proposal to be sent to the government for the approval. While expressing his happiness over the outcome of today’s meeting, he also appealed all teachers to resume their duties at their respective schools from Tuesday.
Representatives of adhoc teachers held a meeting with senior officials of the HRDD on Monday on the missed out issues in recommendations made by the committee constituted by the department for adhoc teachers after its second meeting held on 06 February.
Speaking to media persons after the meeting, an executive member of the association, Yogesh Sharma mentioned that the meeting discussed on the left out issues in the recommendation of the committee. He informed that the department has agreed to include all demands of adhoc teachers and even the file was ready to send to the government for the approval. He added that the department has assured to take out an official notification on all demands by this Saturday.
“We will wait till this Saturday and hope everything will be sort out. The department has agreed on our stand that no adhoc teacher will be terminated after get into the service and they should get the continuation,” Mr Sharma said. He stated that the association was very hopeful that the justice would be delivered very soon. On the same, he appealed all adhoc teachers and employees to submit their all required documents with the form provided by the HRDD as soon as possible for the regularisation process.
Mr Sharma further appealed all to resume their duties at their respective places from tomorrow who have the order till 31 March to solve the problems facing by schools and those do don’t have order would like to get by end of this week. He also thanked all for their support and cooperation towards the association to get the justice. “If anyone would not get the justice then we are still there to fight for them,” he said. He also thanked HRDD officials for their support to adhoc teachers.
