Chief Minister Pawan Chamling lashed out at the Opposition parties in Sikkim for their continuous criticism on various government-sponsored public welfare schemes especially on the recently launched “one family one job” scheme.
Chief Minister Pawan Chamling stated that opposition parties in Sikkim never speaks positive but always busy in the negative criticism. He stressed that opposition parties does not have any programme but always busy in misguiding and mislead the people.
On the occasion, the CM mentioned that oppositions have never give the credit to the good and exemplary works of SDF government but always tries to mislead the people.
On the “one family one job” scheme, Sikkim chief minister asked the Opposition parties, “Where it is written that the youths who get jobs under this scheme will be unemployed after few months?”
However, Chamling further announced that the after completion of five years in service, jobs under this scheme will be regularized.
He also stated that the state government is giving enough emphasis for development in both urban and rural areas of the state.
Chamling claimed that the opposition parties in the state are devoid of any people based programmes and they are doing politics based on falsehood and loot. Adding that people should not pay heed to opposition parties’ agendas, Pawan Chamling said that peace and tranquility of Sikkim should not be put on stake and the progress and development process of the state must not be disturbed and disrupted.
He added that goonda parties should not be supported by people as they are risk to peace and progress of Sikkim.
Opposition parties are group of goondas and opportunists and Sikkim should not go in wrong hands. We are fighting the upcoming election because we did not find any better option than SDF to lead the state. The upcoming election is all about saving Sikkim from the negative forces”, he said. “Never make mistakes of voting for goondas CM cautioned public. I do not have any body behind me but the people of Sikkim. The people of Sikkim are my masters and I work as per their directions.
Elaborating on the government initiative for industrialization in Sikkim, Chamling said, “Towns of Rangpo, Singtam, Majhitar, Dikchu and Makhha have been benefited largely due to the industrialization policy of the state government.”
