The three-day long Susakortot organic festival here at Gor Lower Dzongu, North concluded today. The valedictory function today had Deputy Speaker SLA cum area MLA Dzongu, Sonam Gyatso Lepcha as a chief guest in presence of Additional Director KVK, panchayats and Zilla members and people from all walks of life.
The function also had the traditional games competition and cultural programmes presented by the different cultural troops.
Addressing the function, the Chief Guest stated that Dzongu will be one of the best place in the world by next three years and further added that Sikkim has been one of the safest place owing to the leadership of Pawan Chamling. He further urged the young generation to always have their respect and the dignity of the parents. He also requested all the employees to work with full dedication and sincerity who have recently received their appointment order under one family one job scheme.
Lum/Gor/Sangtok GPU has always been loyal to the party for which we are very much indebted about their gratitude for which the GPU will turn into a model GPU, he stated.
Earlier, President Organising Committee, Bhujong Lepcha highlighted about the history of the importance of Susakurtot organic festival.
