A new branch office of the ruling Sikkim Democratic Front party under Upper Tadong constituency was inaugurated by the constituency-level monitoring and campaign committee chairman, Menlom Lepcha here at Lower Tadong on Saturday.
In his address, Mr Lepcha stated that one family one job scheme of SDF party was a poor-centric scheme to ensure a government employee in every house of Sikkim to provide economic support. He stated that 20,000 unemployed youths of the State have been benefited under this unique scheme. He stated that Sikkim having the peace and security and was a Model State in the country due to principle, policies and programmes of the SDF government.
Mr Lepcha stated that the upcoming election was the fight between truth and untruth so the people of Sikkim needs to think it seriously and to support SDF party to maintain the peace, security and development of Sikkim.
The inaugural function was also addressed by general secretary Kiran Chettri and former councillorsBhaskarBasnet and Prabhat Gurung. The function was also attended by ward councillorGeeta Tiwari, general secretary Lakit Gurung, CLC president Nayan Bhutia, and former panchayat Rinzing Bhutia along with cheli and youths of the party.
