The Former SDF minister and present BJP MLA, N.K Subba has clarified over allegation made against him by Suresh Prasad of Gangtok denying his involvement in the issue related to taking money for allotment of shops at Lal Bazar, Gangtok. It may be noted here that Suresh Prasad in a press conference had alleged that N.K Subba during his tenure as UDHD minister had taken bribes from the business community of Gangtok for allotment of shops at the government establishment of Lal Bazar, Gangtok.
In a press conference held today here at Geyzing, N.K Subba claimed that allegations against him is baseless and Suresh Prasad has no iota of proof to support his allegation. Terming the allegation of Suresh Prasad as politically inspired and sponsored, Subba said, “He has allegations but no evidence. Making me a culprit without proof reflects his negative intentions. He should come out with concrete evidence. I have filed the FIR regarding the issue”.
N.K Subba maintained that some persons in order to tarnish and assassinate his political image are making baseless and fictitious allegations against him. Denying his involvement in the issue, N.K Subba dared Suresh Prasad to come with concrete proof. He expressed that Suresh Prasad is making baseless allegation against him under political pressure.
“Some persons having political enmity with me who are jealous about my shift to BJP are trying to damage and defame my political career. Suresh Prasad is being sponsored and misused by certain political party”, he said.
