Sikkim Democratic Front party has strongly criticised and condemned the statement of BS Panth given on Friday during his joining in SKM party at Jorethang in South Sikkim. The ruling party has expressed that SDF was not an organisation for the satiety of BS Panth but it is people’s party which has been working day and night for Sikkim and its people.

A SDF press release issued by its general secretary [press & publicity], Amber Rai stated that SDF party does not have any objection on the joining of MrPanth to fulfil his aspirations but he should not speak irresponsibly against SDF party which has been brought in the power by the people of Sikkim for fifth consecutive time. The release added that SDF party was an organisation working for the happiness, prosperity and satisfaction of Sikkimese people and it never centric on to fulfil the greediness of any individual like MrPanth. The ruling party asserted that the presence of MrPanth was neither any support to SDF party nor was any service to the people of Sikkim. The release stated that his joining in SKM party would not make any difference to SDF. MrPanth should understand that there was no any place for termite like him in SDF party release added.

The release stated that the statement of MrPanth on finding better policies and principles in SKM party was true as SKM was the house of unsatisfied individuals and the centre of thieves. On the same, the release added that until persons like BS Panth and PS Golay would not get policies and principles of their desires in SDF party the people of Sikkim can live happily but when such people would get policies and principles of their desire SDF would not remain people’s party.

The release mentioned that the people made PS Golay as the Minister for 15 years and three months as an MLA by seeing policies and principles of SDF party and not due to his own qualification. It is added that after knowing his deeds against policies and principles of SDF party the people of Sikkim rejected him. The release mentioned that there was no place for Mr Golay in the electoral politics of Sikkim and he should not deceive himself by seeing as a leader on following by few vested interest individuals.

The release stated that allegation of SKM party of the stealing of its announcements from 2014 election manifesto by SDF party was a big lie as in reality SKM had photocopied announcements of SDF party in 2014. It is added that the people of Sikkim well known about the progress of Sikkim in 24 years. On the same, the ruling has warned PS Golay not to make unsuccessful attempts to mislead the people by saying there was no any development in 25 years as the people of Sikkim were aware about the fact.

The release mentioned that the statement of Mr Golay also revealed that he was envious on the works of the Chief Minister Pawan Chamling in the interest of Sikkimese people. It is added that if announcements of the CM for the people makes Mr Golay unwell then it clearly shows that he was an anti-people element. The ruling party expressed that SDF party has been continuously fighting against such anti-people elements to present Sikkim as the prosperous and developed State of the country and the world. It is added that SDF party was always ready to fight against such anti-people elements in the interest of Sikkim and its people for ages.
