Winners of Glam Miss Sikkim and Glam Miss Teen Sikkim 2019 have expressed that this beauty pageant helped them in their overall personality development and learning experience in the glam world. They thanked the organisers for providing good exposure and platform to present them.
Pema Choden Bhutia crowned as the Glam Miss Sikkim 2019, while Bindiya Devi Dhamala became the first runner-up and ChimiUden stood as the second runner-up. Likewise, Tanushree Thapa crowned with Glam Miss Teen Sikkim 2019 and Roshna Gurung stood as the first runner-up and Anjali Luitel as the second runner-up.
Likewise, Chimi Uden also won the subtitle of Miss Congeniality, Roshna Gurung won subtitle of the Beauty with a Purpose, Tanushree Thapa won subtitle of Miss Fitness and Anjali Luitel in Glam Miss Teen Sikkim and Trishna Limboo in Glam Miss Sikkim won subtitle of the viewer’s choice.
The grand finale of Glam Miss Sikkim and Glam Miss Teen Sikkim 2019, which was organised by Siana Glam World, was held on 20 July at Manan Kendra. The event had the Forest Minister Karma Loday Bhutia as the chief guest, former India football team skipper, Bhaichung Bhutia as a celebrity guest and social worker T Lachungpa as a guest of honour.
Out of 90 contestants in the auditions, 30 were shortlisted for the grand finale. It is informed that contestants were groomed by Pooja Singh and Amjad Khan Pathan was the show director. The grand finale had a panel of four judges.
Sharing experience of the show in a press conference here today, 18-years-old Pema Choden Bhutia of Sivik-Nampong in Lingdok, East Sikkim expressed her immense happiness on winning the title. She stated that it was her dream to participate in the beauty pageant. She is presently pursuing B Tech from Reva University in Bengaluru and expressed her desire to take the modelling and studies side by side. She also expressed his happiness on getting the direct entry to Glam Anand Super Model India 2019.
Likewise, Glam Miss Sikkim first runner-up 22-years-old Bindiya Devi Dhamala of Singtam, East Sikkim and second runner-up 20-years-old Chimi Uden of Gangtok expressed that the whole journey of the contest was a learning experience. “The show was a good experience and helped us to find a better version of ourselves. We thanked the organisers for provided such opportunities and exposure to present ourselves,” they said.
18-years-old Glam Miss Teen Sikkim 2019, Tanushree Thapa of Sichey, Gangtok expressed that the contest helped in the overall personality development and to know more about pageantry and glam world. She expressed that it was great exposure and opportunity to exhibit the talent as well. She also got the direct entry in upcoming Miss Teen India 2019.
Likewise, Glam Miss Teen Sikkim first runner-up 17-years-old Roshna Gurung of Gangtok and second runner-up 15-years-old Anjali Luitel of Pakyong stated that the event was a learning experience and motivated to go ahead in this field. “It was a learning experience and helped us to know more about ourselves and our potential,” they added.
